When the creators’ made the Island and Garden, one also set a beacon at the end of a great Ocean which tipped over the edge of the world. It fed a maelstrom which like the whirlpools of myth drew in those who came too close to Eden. The tempest was the first barrier and then the secondary maelstrom and reef were equally dangerous obstacles which destroyed all sorts of craft sending their human cargo to stygian death. In this instance, the lighthouse, unlike the Pharos in human history was a repository of universal hatred and malevolence.

Why the beacon was set on the very edge of the oceans precipitous waterfall is a question posed. The simple answer mooted was.. like godly fishermen, He desired to see what could be caught in his net. viewing the terrified faces of humans or listening to the squawking birds or extant sea creatures dragged from one epoch to another. So as a sure warning of the dangerous forces at this intersection, it was also a place of study and quiet contemplation of death and destruction. A light which was lit permanently in the wild tumult of the seas to lure and encourage one’s annihilation.

If ever a Lucifer or powerful destroyer lived he surely contemplated life’s rich tapestry of death from atop this beacon. It was from here that he saw Adam Falconer and Evelyn Morningstar with a gaggle of other people boarding an ancient three masted galleon and setting out into the swollen lagoon of the creator’s Island. The Storm raged so that only his beacon picked out the inconsequential craft and illuminated the animated players inside. No doubt, so very special because few would even attempt such a crossing, never mind dream to succeed. Every fisherman has a tale of the one that got away, so it was that gravity bent and immutable dark forces were quashed ,not enough when faced with actors that could create history, not just be a part of it.
