Beacon Tarn by david jackson

This picture is loosely based on a visit to Beacon tarn near Coniston in the Lake District. 

I say loosely because when I was doing this picture I started to re-imagine the background. 

It became a seascape. 

The reason is that magnificent as the backdrop is to Beacon Tarn it was a bit of a murky day. 

Parts of it work. 

It is a ‘work in progress’.
