Planning for Heart & Soul

I got to Ithaca and now the reality of planning the two exhibitions ‘dawns’.

Firstly, Janeto is completely worn out but soldiers on. So, to try and get some quality time to consider an art exhibition is not easy.

I suspect he will have to trust in me!

At the Mentor, Barbara holds the fort but cannot make the momentous decision to move the existing art which hangs there. It is by a relative of Michalis and, I have to say, it isn’t half bad. It doesn’t, however, do any harm to refresh the place.

Again, it was Michalis’s birthday, so he was getting his beauty sleep when I popped round.

He is mostly interested in boating.

You see, here I started to paint with what bits and brushes I have.

Half the acrylic has dried out, having been in the Discovery I left in Ithaca.

Anyhow, it’s ‘Across from Ithaca to Kefalonia’.

It has a certain brusque, brash, boldness to it.
